
United Launch Alliance // Delta IV Heavy NROL-68 Launch
As I proudly marked my 50th rocket launch, the allure of the Delta IV Heavy rocket remained as captivating as ever. Several years working as a video editor allow me to keep the end product in mind throughout the duration of each project. This ensures that when it's time for post-production, I have all the components necessary to weave together a unique and compelling story that captures the essence of the journey. About a month before the launch, I began gathering the elements needed to execute this mission. I meticulously collected video and photo assets that narrate the unfolding of events from the lead-up to launch through the subsequent flight.

Project Responsibilities
Brand Management
Ensured consistent branding across all photo and video content associated with ULA products for this mission.
Content Creation
Responsible for creating a variety of visual assets for this mission, including the Mission Profile Video, a promotional video for our social media 'stories,' the Launch Highlights Video, the RocketCam Compilation, video assets for the CEO, liftoff exports for the various social platforms, as well as all video products included in the live broadcast.

Conceptualized the ideal products for this mission based on metrics and insights gleaned from recent, comparable campaigns.

Organized the booking of photo and video crews to attend the launch, ensuring they had the necessary access to support assigned events on the Space Force Base.

Compiled detailed schedules for launch week and prepared the shooters to capture content that aligned with my vision for the final products.

Assumed the role of lead producer for all shoots, guiding the team to capture the desired shots for liftoff. Additionally, acted as an additional photographer to provide immediate-release photos during the rocket’s ‘roll’ to the launch position.

Handled the process of ingesting, organizing, and selecting music before I edited the final products.

Exported versions optimized for various social platforms including X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Producing the Live Rocket
Launch Broadcast

Casted the launch commentator and scripted the full broadcast for the live rocket launch.

Scheduled and conducted meetings with the contracted broadcast team to ensure smooth coordination.

Compiled information for the live graphic components and developed contingency plans for any on-air delays.

Produced and edited pre-recorded show components, including the Mission Profile Video, Artwork and Dedication Videos, and the Rocket Configuration Overview. Also managed the scheduling of voiceover recordings for each of these components.

Oversaw the review and approval process for all produced content to ensure customer satisfaction.
